Everything was excellent, the continental breakfast was totally worth it. The location turned out to be great, so close to the motor way as well as the gardens at the back. The main bar was excellent and the staff were courteous and very, very nice. This place was ideal for our purposes, recommend.

the staff were fantastic, one of the girls on reception even came to pick us up and bring us to the hotel as we had got lost after an 8 and a half hour hike.they then upgraded our room as a treat.

The beautiful indoor and outdoor jacuzzi featured in a spacious family room added to the overall relaxation. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room was very nice, a good size and good facilities. The food was good quality and fairly reasonable.

One of the bar staff was not as personable as he could have been.

The carrickdale is a lovely place with friendly staff who went out of their way to. We enjoyed the secret garden, a great spot for the kids to play. The tailored massage therapy at the spa was a highlight for me, as it really helped relieve my stress.

Food was always available either in the bar or restaurant. The quality of the bar food was as good as in the restaurant. The staff on reception and in the restaurant really make you feel welcome. My room was spacious and modern. Just a very well run hotel which is value for money.

The carrickdale is a great place! Our double room was clean, and the food was nice with plenty of options. The staff at reception, bar, and restaurant were really accommodating. The spa treatments are great, offering tailored massages that help relieve stress.

I had a nice break, but the breakfast was a bit average, and the shower access was tricky. The room was comfy with great views though. Chur for that!

Good location just off the motorway, very easy to find. Good sized decent rooms. There were good choices for food, and the waiting staff were brisk and efficient as well as numerous!

It would appear that by booking online and choosing breakfast in advance means paying 12 eur but by not booking breakfast and just turning up you only pay 8 eur as long as you don't have the full Irish.

Stayed in the executive suite and it was amaaazin! Super spacious and comfy. The staff were really friendly. Dinner was delicious and the restaurant staff, especially michelle, were pretty good for our anniversary. Loved the pool area too, but wish they'd keep it a lil cleaner. Breakfast was a feast, so much variety!

the view from our room wasn't great, and the bathroom could use a modern touch.

What an enormous room for the money! And a giant bed. Lovely view over the hills - if only they could move the motorway out of sight it would be perfect!
